JOB SUMMARY

Data integration is one of the key differentiators of Inspectorio and the need for a Senior Product Manager of Integrations exists both internally to strategize the capabilities and ways to integrate with the rest of the world, and externally to ensure partnering effectively with our customers on their data exchange’s challenges.

One of the top priorities of our customers is to interconnect their account of Inspectorio with their internal and 3rd party systems/apps, and they have roadmaps where they allocate strategic data integration initiatives for the years to come in which the Senior Product Manager  will be a key contributor to make them successful for both parties.

Our product vision at Inspectorio is to offer a wide variety of capabilities to enable our customers to exchange data for several tactical objectives: generate activities seamlessly, optimize their business processes to focus on value, and load their data in powerful business intelligence dashboards at ease.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager specializing in Integrations to analyze, define, design and coordinate the delivery of the integration approaches to connect Inspectorio with applications and systems, and make them work as one powerful product. The Senior Product Manager must decide and own what will be the vision to integrate with business-critical systems such as ERPs and various cloud-based applications (Stripe, NetSuite, etc.). Strong technical understanding on the integration side and also experience in SaaS Product Integration is a must for that position, along with a developer or technical background and proven projects delivered as part of your portfolio.

Overall, the mission of Inspectorio Integration team is to deliver word-class and sustainable integration capabilities to provide a seamless open platform that can open Inspectorio to the developers of our customers and external business partners to use via third-party applications or direct integration in order to streamline business processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the product for all the data exchange capabilities, including but not limited to: Open API Integration, Enterprise API Integration, Flat File Transfer, External System File Import, Webhooks, Master Data Management, Integration Center, Integration Platform, etc.
• Build a product that is consistent with Inspectorio platforms and overall business strategy
• Proven experience leading and managing integrations of Products (must-have) and Companies (ideally)
• Have a strong technical acumen and developer savvy to ensure simple integrations, developer satisfaction, and business value
• Optimize the developer’s experience and manage the Data Exchange Product Roadmap by providing the right vision on enablers (the capabilities) v/s features (the endpoints)
• Think strategically and tactically by gathering insights and designing solutions that meet business goals with a realistic implementation plan
• Lead conversations with customers to understand their goals in implementing data integration with their account of Inspectorio, and propose solutions adapted to their needs
• Lead conversations with 3rd party apps/systems to understand their specifications and quickly identify viable solutions
• Able to explain complex integration initiatives to both business and technical stakeholders, document solutions & describe current state and future state with diagrams (context diagram, user flow charts, sequence diagram), data models, epics/stories, etc.
• Experienced working in a technical environment based on microservices with RESTful APIs (JSON)
• Strong understanding of system integrations, familiar with open-source API standards and solutions, and prior programming experience or deep understanding of the developer audience
• Define & design agnostic solutions (i.e. works with any app/system) as well as generic solutions (i.e. works for any customer with little to no configuration/implementation required)
• Coordinate team members in the delivery of your defined & designed solutions

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years in a technology/engineering position, e.g. IT Project Manager, IT Team Lead, Implementation Specialist, Integration Product Owner/Product Manager etc.
• Excellent understanding of the principles of a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) and system integration (data flows, data mapping, error handling, throttling)
• Hands-on experience with different components of data integration, e.g. Webhooks, API Integration, Internet of Things (IoT), real-time data integration, scheduled data integration, iPaaS (Integration Platform-as-a-Service)
• Past experience with popular APIs, such as Google Developers or Facebook for Developers
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking

COMPETENCIES

• Passion for, or a past software engineering experience is a big plus
• Ability in high-level designs of software programs and system integrations
• Mastery of necessary tools for the position such as Postman, Jira (backlog requirements), Confluence, PowerPoint, Excel, Draw.io / LucidChart / Visio, Balsamiq
• Past experience querying databases via SQL is an advantage
• Familiarity with OpenAPI standard and Swagger
• Professional proficiency in other languages is an advantage (Vietnamese, Russian)
