JOB SUMMARY

Are you an experienced Product Marketer looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to advance your skills and career in a great working environment? Then we want you!

We are looking for a driven Product Marketer who will be responsible for driving go-to-market activities, competitive intelligence, messaging, client education, and positioning of our products. The successful candidate will also be charged with developing engaging marketing programs that will reach the target audience for each product and inspire an increase in sales revenue.

 

You must know our competitors like the back of your hand. You must also know our buyers (and users) better than they know themselves, including how they make their buying decisions. You must back up strategic insights with market evidence and then use that knowledge to drive the development messaging that resonates with our key prospects and empowers our revenue teams to be successful.

 

You will collaborate with our marketing team to develop innovative programs that drive demand. Attention to detail, strong writing skills, an eye for quality are critical to your success, along with an ability to grasp and present our product’s value proposition in a way that resonates with our target audience. You are obsessed with tracking performance and have the data to prove what’s working and what isn’t.

 

In addition to the marketing team, you will regularly collaborate with product owners, and our revenue and instructional design teams; it’s a balancing act that requires strong diplomatic, communication, and organizational skills.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop comprehensive product marketing plans for revenue and marketing teams, including messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas
  • Work closely with product development teams to determine the most profitable course for each existing and new product
  • Develop product messaging that differentiates new products and services from others in the market
  • Maintain and manage competitive intelligence and comparisons by working with cross-functional stakeholders and executing self-lead research
  • Create product content such as case studies, videos, blog posts, articles, or any marketing material that contributes to the product marketing strategy
  • Gain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities, and buyer personas
  • Measure and optimize the buyer journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage
  • Assist in the creation of training materials for existing clients (to drive adoption of the products)
  • Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support your products on an ongoing basis, and report back to the team lead on required changes
  • Understand and support our revenue team channels; provide ongoing training for our revenue team on the problems we solve for our buyers and users
  • Write and post engaging messages for general ad campaigns or social media campaigns

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 2+ years of product marketing experience (preferably for a SaaS product)
  • English language fluency is an essential requirement
  • Proven history of creating effective marketing programs
  • Experience with competitive analysis
  • Exceptional ROI and data tracking skills
  • Must have strong writing skills (experience creating marketing content such as blogs is an advantage)
  • Strong interpersonal skills (experience collaborating with a cross-functional team is an advantage)
  • Ability and willingness to travel

COMPETENCIES

  • Proficiency using CRM tools such as Hubspot is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as Market Muse, Buzzumo, and Google Analytics is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of social networking tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram is an advantage.
